In other words, you won’t be able to find anybody who can for sure give you a definite time frame. That’s because, it all works out differently for different people. It all depends on who you are, what you are doing, and what your present condition is. There is another important factor – it also depends on how much fat you are planning to lose from your belly.
How long does it take to lose belly fat – all things considered, there are four main factors that would determine this. They are,
- The type of body you have.
- How much fat you have in your body at this time.
- Your diet regime.
- Exercise or workout.
Type of Body
Body types are divided into 3 categories. They are ectomorphs, endomorphs and mesomorphs. People who are naturally slim are said to be ectomorphs. These people have a lot of energy. Even if they have some fat deposition for whatever reason, they are usually able to get it off quickly. And so, they won’t take a lot of time to lose that belly. People who have a very fast metabolism are said to be mesomorphs. They can put in muscle mass quickly, unlike the ectomorphs who never tend to achieve this. However, these people can gain weight quickly too. But on the other hand, they can lose it quickly as well. That’s because of their faster metabolism – it helps them burn more calories. Endomorphs are the people with a problem. They have a tougher time losing this weight. And so, if you belong to this category, you would probably take longer than most others.
How Much Fat You Want To Lose
This refers to your starting point. In other words, are you extremely obese, or do you have just a few more additional pounds that you want to shed? If you have a lot of fat, then naturally, it would take much longer for you to achieve the results you want. On the other hand, if it’s just a matter of a few pounds, then probably, you can get it done quickly enough.
The Diet Regime
How long does it take to lose belly fat depends on the foods that you are eating at this time. If you are consuming fatty substances, then you cannot really hope to shed those pounds. You must change your diet regime. Visit a dietician and get that new plan for you. Then follow this plan and you would be able to get the results you want. Your new eating plan will eliminate or restrict the intake of several food items that are consuming now.
Exercise
Working out is very important to losing weight. Working out allows you to shed those calories you are taking in. You must do this for at least 4 to 5 days in a week. Again, the intensity will depend on the weight you have to shed, and on your overall health condition. How long does it take to lose belly fat – the effectiveness of these workouts will determine this as well.
